Scottish Biomedical’s drug screening team is experienced in developing screens and assays for small molecule compounds using the most advanced high throughput systems.

• Extensive experience of assay optimisation and development
• State of the art laboratories equipped with sophisticated robots and liquid handling systems.
• Utilise technologies such as fluorimetric (fluorescence polarisation and FRET), radioisotope (SPA and Flashplate), luminescence (BRET and ALPHA).
• Assays run in house or transferred to client.
• Rapid screening of Scottish Biomedical’s lead generation library, focused libraries or client supplied libraries.
• Experience in a wide range of disease targets: PDEs, Ion channels, GPCRs, phosphatases, kinases, ubiquitin modifying enzymes and HDACs.
